Amy Jo Ptaszek ,MD

 

Dr Ptaszek is Board Certified in Foot & Ankle Orthopaedic Surgery and practices at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute. Among her clinical interests are foot and ankle trauma/ reconstruction, limb salvage and sports related injury. Dr. Ptaszek received her Fellowship training at Baylor and the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) in Dallas, Texas and completed her residency at Northwestern University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. She served as the chief of the Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Service at Wilford Hall Medical Center USAF and as assistant professor at UTSW/ Parkland Hospital. She is currently clinical assistant professor at Northwestern University, and has authored numerous publications and presentations.
