Biography

Edgar joined the IBJI Rehab team in June 2021. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 2015 in exercise science and developed a love for rehab in his internship program. Edgar decided to continue his education and got accepted to Oakton’s PTA program and graduated in 2020. Edgar is passionate in providing the highest level of care as well as building relationships with his patients. A former employee of ATI, Edgar has seen a wide variety of diagnoses but he enjoys treating knees, hips, and lower back issues the best. Edgar believes that pt’s should be challenged and pushed within their plan of care to achieve the desired goals that they have for themselves.

Prior to becoming a PTA, Edgar worked as a fitness instructor/personal trainer in Rosemont. He enjoys coaching youth basketball in his downtime and loves to enjoy long walks with his 16 year old pup. Edgar believes in being active and preaching what he teaches to his patients, so he enjoys working out and reading new techniques to apply to his patients.
