20-Year-Old Athlete Back in the Game After Ankle Tissue Graft: Hannah’s Story

2019-02-01T10:15:23-05:00August 13th, 2018|

Dr. Vora is a spectacular doctor who wants to do what is right by the patient, not the practice. I had two previous ankle surgeries at RUSH, however, the damage of my ankle was so much worse that RUSH’s two operations would’ve never worked because I needed an entire ‪ankle allograft. Before my surgery with Vora I couldn’t even walk a mile without my ankle swelling like a balloon, which was not ideal being an elite 20-year-old athlete; but now, a year later, I am able to do any activity without any pain what-so-ever. It’s such a night and day difference. Lastly, Vora cares so much about the patient at hand and uses surgery as a last resort, plus he's [...]
