Karlie graduated from Midwestern University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in 2020. She enjoys treating low back pain and radicular conditions, but is well versed in the treatment of all forms of orthopedic injuries. Karlie has a special interest in treating athletes, due to her past experiences as a soccer player and competitive dancer. She forms strong therapeutic alliances with her patients due to her positivity and enthusiasm for orthopedics. Karlie is certified in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, which she has found useful for various orthopedic conditions. She believes patient education is a key component to recovery, and she strives to educate all of her patients on the anatomical and physiological rationale to her interventions. She believes each component of treatment should have a specific and individualized purpose. Karlie practices evidence-based treatment strategies to achieve optimal outcomes. She has aspirations to practice dry needling and blood flow restriction therapy in her future career.
In her free time, Karlie competes in a soccer league, participates in long distance running, and enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Lucky.
