Emily is a Certified Hand Therapist who has been working with Illinois Bone and Joint Institute since she graduated from Rush University’s Occupational Therapy program in 2015. As an occupational therapist in an orthopedic setting, Emily treats the upper extremity from the fingertip to the shoulder. She enjoys working with patients in all stages of life, treating a wide range of upper extremity orthopedic injuries from fractures to overuse injuries and post-operative repairs. Emily appreciates the ability to work so closely with physicians every day in order to continue learning and provide more comprehensive, patient-focused care to her patients.
Emily is Co-Lead Occupational Therapist at IBJI as well as the OT Clinical Education Coordinator for graduate students completing their final rotations before graduation.
