Biography

Originally from small town, Walnut, IL, Hillary moved to Chicago in 2015 as she joined the IBJI team. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, where she was captain of the club volleyball team and played every intramural sport possible. But it wasn’t just participating in sports that led Hillary to the health care field — it was being a part of Augustana’s athletic training program, where she was actively involved with helping injured athletes back to the collegiate level. She then went on to obtain her PTA degree at Black Hawk College in Moline, IL, and has been happily practicing ever since. 

Hillary is involved in the IBJI sports medicine and foot and ankle special interest groups. In addition to working with a variety of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, Hillary has developed a specific interest in post-operative knee and shoulder rehab. Her positive attitude and smile are contagious, and she loves getting to know her patients. 

In her free time, Hillary enjoys running outside, trying delicious recipes on Pinterest, and cheering on Chicago sports teams. (Go Cubbies!)
