Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI), a leading physician-owned orthopedic practice, is excited to announce the transition to a paperless billing system effective May 1, 2024. This significant move shows IBJI's commitment to both our patients' experience and environmental stewardship.

Easy Access to Your Bills

Starting May 1, current patients will be able to easily view, download, and pay their bills by logging into their MyChart account. For added convenience, patients with a credit card on file will have their card automatically charged ten days after their insurance processes. They'll also have the option to pay directly through the secure MyChart portal or by check.

Going Green

In an effort to reduce environmental impact and streamline billing, IBJI’s new paperless system will allow patients to access and manage their bills electronically through email or the MyChart platform. "Our goal is to provide our patients with an effortless way to manage their healthcare expenses while contributing to environmental conservation," says Michelle Flaherty, Chief Operating Officer of IBJI.

Seamless Transition for Patients

Current patients will be enrolled in paperless billing automatically. But even newcomers to IBJI will be able to take advantage of the new system.
