Dr. Shah is a board eligible orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship in complex hip, knee, and shoulder replacement.
He performs procedures from direct anterior minimally invasive hip replacement, shoulder and knee replacement, to complex revision arthroplasty for prosthetic joint infection.
He also continues to enjoy practicing other orthopaedic fields including trauma, hand, foot and ankle, and pediatric.
Dr. Shah was born and raised in Chicago before making his way to Boston to study mechanical engineering at Northeastern University. He returned to the Chicago area for medical school, where he earned his degree in medicine at Midwestern University, and completed his residency in Orthopaedics at Midwestern University.
Dr. Shah went on to complete his fellowship at LA Orthopaedic Institute in Los Angeles under the mentorship of Dr. Edward J. McPherson, one of the world’s leading experts in prosthetic joint infection, complex arthroplasty, and adult reconstruction.
