Biography

Dr. Kathryn L. Fideler is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery, including both primary and revision procedures. Dr. Fideler is an expert in the direct anterior approach for hip replacement as well as patient-specific, minimally invasive techniques for partial knee replacement and total knee replacement. She is committed to staying at the forefront of the latest evidence-based advancements in joint replacement surgery and alternative treatments, ensuring that her patients receive the most advanced and personalized care available.

Dr. Fideler treats a diverse range of patients, including adults with chronic degenerative joint disease of the hip or knee, individuals experiencing debilitating joint pain, and those experiencing chronic pain after hip or knee replacement surgery. Her approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, emphasizing improved mobility and quality of life.

Inspired by the dedication of her father, an orthopedic surgeon, and her mother, a surgical nurse, Dr. Fideler decided at a young age to pursue a career in medicine. Her choice of orthopedics stems from the deep satisfaction she finds in helping patients overcome orthopedic challenges and return to their normal daily lives. Through her practice, Dr. Fideler strives to create a compassionate and supportive environment, empowering her patients every step of the way to achieve optimal outcomes.

I believe in providing comprehensive and empathetic care to all of my patients. I pride myself in staying on the forefront of the latest, evidence-based treatment options for hip and knee conditions.
