Biography

Dr. Ragav Sharma is a fellowship trained interventional spine and musculoskeletal physician. His path into medicine was shaped by his own health journey facing the risks of early heart disease and diabetes because of undiagnosed hypothyroidism. Movement provided the change he needed and became the foundation for his life's mission of helping others reclaim their health.

Dr. Sharma went on to earn his B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, his DO from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals, and fellowship in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine at Desert Spine and Sports Physicians in Phoenix, Arizona.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Sharma is a competitive powerlifter with a 711 lb deadlift personal record and an active ultramarathon runner. He also enjoys hosting pizza parties and watching Premiere League Football where he follows Manchester City.

Through his own experiences, Dr. Sharma found that most things we find joy in are based around some sort of movement. Whether chasing athletic endeavors, being a weekend warrior, or simply enjoying time with grandchildren, movement is at the heart of it all. He has found it his purpose to provide others the opportunity to enjoy that movement. He has followed that mission throughout his career by previously working as a personal trainer and educating others via social media.
