Wendy Alling,PT, MSPT has been practicing physical therapy for twenty one years. Originally from Connecticut, Wendy moved to Chicago in 1994 and worked at The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago before joining Illinois Bone & Joint Institute. She began at IBJI’s Glenview location in 2001 and then transitioned as Facility Manager to IBJI’s Libertyville facility in 2004. Currently, Wendy is the Assistant Facility Manager in Libertyville and organizes internal continuing education opportunities for IBJI’s rehabilitation staff.
Wendy enjoys treating a wide variety of diagnoses and is dedicated to using the most effective and appropriate treatments to facilitate a full recovery. She takes a special interest in working with foot and ankle injuries and has participated in multiple continuing education events focused on this body region. She also takes a strong interest in sacroiliac, hip, shoulder and knee injuries. Wendy believes in evaluating the whole body and addressing bio-mechanical deficits that contribute to the primary injury.
Wendy’s background in competitive diving, volleyball and gymnastics has formed the basis of her appreciation for athletics. Wendy enjoys golfing, walking, traveling and spending time with her active family.
