Biography

Alyssa is originally from Mahomet, Illinois and grew up playing softball into her collegiate years. She graduated cum laude from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and was inducted into her school's national honors society for collegiate scholars. She went on to earn her master's degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove Illinois. She joined Dr. Antkowiak's team in October 2022 and she enjoys working as part of the sports medicine team in both the clinical and surgical settings. 

She specializes in the hip, knee and shoulder, but also sees a variety of other patient problems. Her desire to work in orthopedics stems from the fact that she enjoys helping patients achieve a higher level of function in their daily lives and return to their favorite sports and activities. 

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She loves hiking, traveling, camping and other outdoor recreational activities.
