Biography

Ashley Kerestes, MPAS, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant who specializes in the treatment of the hand, wrist, and elbow. She works directly with Dr. Ghodasra in the office and operating room. She performs all injections of the hand and upper extremity, including injections for carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, and osteoarthritis. 

Ashley attended Gannon University, where she completed an accelerated five-year PA program and graduated magna cum laude. During her clinical elective, she gained additional training in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine while treating collegiate athletes. 

Ashley also served as a three-year team captain of the women’s volleyball team at Gannon University. She led the volleyball team to several NCAA Division II Final Four appearances and received All-American Honors. In addition to being named a PSAC all-conference scholar athlete four times, she was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society. Ashley also earned a minor in Spanish and studied abroad in Chile. 

She is passionate about helping her patients return to their highest level of performance in order to enjoy their favorite sports and activities. 

In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and participating in a number of sports, including volleyball.
