Miriam joined the IBJI Rehab team in 2017. She had worked as a rehabilitation technician since 2011 in an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Chicago while she was working toward her degrees in physical therapy. She had greatly enjoyed aiding physical therapists and being a part of the enhancement of the quality of life of numerous patients prior to beginning her career with IBJI. She now looks forward to applying her devotion and passion as a physical therapist assistant at IBJI in the hopes of making an even bigger difference in the lives of patients.
Miriam enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and both surgical and non-surgical diagnoses, with a special interest in sports-related injuries and joint replacements. She strongly believes in teamwork with the other physical therapists and close collaboration with the physicians and their staff in order to ensure the utmost quality of care for patients and to help them reach their functional goals.
In her free time, Miriam enjoys relaxing with a good book, traveling, and serving in her local church as part of the music team. She also enjoys cooking and baking for her family and friends.
