Biography

Megan Carey, PT, MPT, a Chicagoland native, has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics since graduating from Washington University in St Louis’s physical therapy program in 2001. She began her career at IBJI at the Wilmette location in 2002 and transferred to the Arlington Heights location in 2006.

Megan enjoys the collaborative care model that IBJI offers with open communication between the physician and therapist to facilitate the best possible care for the patient. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, and sports related conditions, with special interest in shoulder and knee injuries. Megan strongly believes in individualized care for every patient, incorporating manual therapy, exercise progression, and patient education.

Megan has a strong background in dance and continues to pursue this passion in her spare time. She also loves spending time with her husband and two sons and cheering on her favorite sports teams, especially the Cubs and Blackhawks.
