Elizabeth Culver, MPT has been a physical therapist since 1996. Initially she worked for Highland Park Hospital in Highland Park, IL, in the outpatient P.T. department and helped to develop their woman’s health program. She was asked to join IBJI in 2001. Since then she has focused on treating patients with orthopedic diagnoses of all kinds. Her goal is to maximize the function and recovery of her patients while striving to help them achieve their personal goals.
Physical therapy is Elizabeth’s second career. After earning a M.S. in Botany, she worked for 12 years as a plant pathologist at Northrup King Seed Company. After suffering an injury and undergoing physical therapy rehabilitation, she decided physical therapy was her passion. She enjoys and has experience working with orthopedic diagnoses, with a special interest in the active maturing population.
Due to her plant pathology work, she has worked in MN, CA and MN. She moved to IL after graduating from the Mayo School of Health Related Sciences in Rochester, MN with her MS in Physical Therapy.
When not working she enjoys flying, cycling, gardening, sailing, cross-country skiing, cooking, reading, and playing with her dog.
