Biography

Daniela Uy Kimpang obtained her Master in Occupational Therapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She also received her undergraduate degree from UIC with a bachelors in Rehabilitation Science and a minor in Disability & Human Development. She completed her fieldwork in a variety of disciplines including hand therapy at UI Health and the neuro-spinal service line at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Daniela enjoys providing individualized treatments with an emphasis on using occupational factors as basis for evidence based treatment. Her goal is to empower individuals to regain independence and maximize function after their injury. While she is passionate about all upper extremity rehabilitation, she has a special interest in working with post-operative care and repetitive injuries in e-gaming. She believes in continuous learning and improvement and is aspiring to earn a certification as a specialist in hand therapy. 

In her free time she enjoys finding new places to eat, traveling and playing her guitars!
