Caralyn Debash, PT, DPT has been practicing in orthopedic physical therapy in Wilmette since graduating in June of 2016. Rosalind Franklin University, from where she received her doctorate degree, strongly upholds the value of inter-professionalism and that is one of the many reasons she enjoys working for Illinois Bone and Joint in that the open communication and teamwork between physicians and therapist is strongly encouraged. She enjoys treating a variety of diagnoses, especially injuries involving the hip, knee and shoulder. She is dedicated to making her treatments patient-specific with the incorporation of education and symptom management to facilitate a full recovery.
Caralyn is from the great state of Michigan where she received her bachelors degree in Health Sciences at Oakland University. She has a background in the sport of cheerleading, both as an athlete and as a high school coach where she implemented a strength and injury prevention program in her last year of studies. Caralyn is BLS certified and is an active member of the APTA, MPTA, and IPTA.
In her free time, Caralyn enjoys training in the sport of Crossfit, gaining knowledge in both fitness and nutrition and spending time with friends and family.
