Henry is a practicing Physical Therapist in the Orthopedic Field since graduating with a doctoral degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2014. He has been working in the Gurnee area with Illinois Bone and Joint Institute since his graduation.
Henry enjoys working with a wide variety of patients with ranging orthopedic conditions from joint replacement, to sports trauma, to over use injuries, to ergonomic impairments. He values manual interventions and hands-on treatment to feel mechanical and physiological changes of the human body allowing optimum movement. Interventions such as joint mobilizations / manipulations, neural mobilizations, soft tissue treatments, and guided exercises using tactile and hands on cueing are highlights of Henry's practice. Henry's clinical interventions address all aspects of a patient's health in order to provide more efficient and more cost effective treatment
Henry has dense history with football, playing through his collegiate years at Augustana College. Growing up in central Illinois, Henry is a fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoys being physically active, whether that be hiking, kayaking, running, or playing sports like basketball or flag football.
Henry is a member of IBJI’s Industrial Rehab team and offers Functional Capacity Evaluation at our Gurnee location.
