Henry is the Facility Manager and practicing Physical Therapist for the Schaumburg clinic since its opening in 2018. He has been practicing in orthopedics with Illinois Bone and Joint since graduating with a doctoral degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2014.
Henry enjoys working with a wide variety of patients with orthopedic conditions ranging from joint replacements, sports traumas, over use injuries, to ergonomic impairments. His skill set with manual interventions for best mechanical assessment allow him to help his patients achieve their optimum movement. Interventions such as Neuromotor re-education, movement pattern re-training, joint mobilizations / manipulations, neural mobilizations, and guided exercises using tactile cueing are highlights of Henry’s practice. He believes that empowering patients to take their health into their own hands is crucial to see long term results and a return to a high quality of life.
As a collegiate athlete, Henry uses his personal experiences playing football at Augustana college to relate to all of his patients. Growing up in central Illinois, Henry is a fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoys being physically active, whether that be hiking, kayaking, running, or playing sports like basketball or flag football.
Henry is a member of IBJI’s Industrial Rehab team offering Functional Capacity Evaluations, and is active in the Sports Medicine team, providing sports rehab and concussion rehab at our Schaumburg location.
