Biography

Kelley Gallagher, PTA, joined the IBJI team in September 2020 but has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics since 2018. Kelley received her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University- Carbondale then went on to pursue Physical Therapy Assisting from Elgin Community College. She enjoys treating a wide variety of diagnoses but has a passion for sports medicine and injuries involving the hip, knee and foot/ankle. She has a variety of education in performing gait analysis, prevention of running injuries, and various manual techniques.

Kelley was a member of the track and cross country teams at SIU and continues her passion for running by participating in races ranging from 5k’s to marathons. When she is not running, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family, friends and her 2 cats.
