Shelby Heilman PT, DPT, ATC began working at Illinois Bone and Joint Institute after graduating from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Originally from northern Indiana, Shelby moved to the northwest Chicago suburbs after her schooling.
Shelby has a passion for treating patients of all ages with a variety of orthopedic conditions. She strives to assist patients in improving their quality of life, promoting overall wellness, and encouraging future injury prevention. Her undergraduate education in athletic training at Purdue University allowed her to gain experience with the rehabilitation process of competitive athletes in sports such as volleyball, baseball, and football.
Shelby enjoys traveling, hiking, reading any book she can get her hands on, and cheering on her alma mater, the Purdue Boilermakers.
