Tom Komperda received his DPT from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He has been practicing Physical Therapy for 3 years. In this time he has honed his hand skills in manual therapy interventions. He is currently pursuing a clinical Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT). With these “hands on” skills Tom is better able to assess and treat a host of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Tom is passionate about his career in Physical Therapy and receives a sense of purpose from helping others. He feels his role as a Therapist is to empower the patient to take control of their condition. He also believes every individual has a responsibility to the well-being of their body. Fundamentally, Tom believes in addressing the underlying movement disorder that has lead to the tissue dysfunction. I.e. What caused this condition to develop? Although Tom is competent in treating all body parts, he particularly enjoys treating the spine due to the complexity of most conditions of the neck and back.
