Biography

Kristina Nguyen recently obtained her Master in Occupational Therapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She also graduated from UIC in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and minored in sociology.

Kristina started her career in occupational therapy as a rehab technician at IBJI in Morton Grove prior to her master’s program and is excited to be back. She enjoys treating diverse populations and being challenged with various diagnoses. Her clinical interests include sports rehabilitation, post-operative care, and trauma-related injuries. Kristina believes in using a holistic, client- centered, and evidence-based approach to provide optimal care to her patients. She stresses the importance of building a strong relationship with her clients and empowering them to take control of their body and mind in order to return to activities that they love and want to do.

Outside of the clinic, Kristina enjoys spending time her family and dog, living an active lifestyle by going to the gym or playing volleyball, and exploring new foods/desserts!
