Jelena Krstic, PT, DPT has been working in outpatient orthopedics since graduating in 2015. Originally from the northern suburb of Niles, she returned to the Chicagoland area after graduating from Carroll University in Wisconsin. Her passion for physical therapy stems from her own exposure to PT as a young athlete for several figure skating, volleyball, and swimming injuries.
Jelena enjoys treating patients of all ages and diagnoses, utilizing a holistic approach along with research-supported treatments to achieve optimal results. She believes that patient collaboration and education are key to successful rehabilitation and self management. She has over 40 hours of specialized training in spinal manual therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has worked as a clinical instructor and lab assistant for physical therapy students.
In her free time, Jelena loves to spend time with family, cook, and explore the city. She enjoys a variety of activities including yoga, Orangetheory fitness classes, and Crossfit and is a devoted Chicago and Notre Dame sports fan.
