Michael Lynch is a graduate of Northwestern’s Physical Therapy program. He joined the Illinois Bone & Joint team in 2015 where he worked at the Glenview clinic before transitioning to the Palatine IBJI location.
Mike initially became interested in Physical Therapy during his time in the United States Army where he witnessed several of his friends improve from injuries with therapy. After deployments to both Germany and Baghdad, Iraq he returned home to pursue degrees in Kinesiology and Physical Therapy. His time overseas has allowed Mike to connect with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds and he enjoys hearing about new countries to visit.
Mike’s goal is a comprehensive patient-centered approach with each therapy visit. He is part of the OrthoHealth program, which is focused on improving metabolic health to alleviate joint pain. He is a member of both the IBJI Sports Medicine and Manual Therapy special interest groups.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, exercising, and being outdoors.
