Biography
Matt McKenna, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant who specializes in orthopedics with an emphasis on sports medicine and disorders of the knee and shoulder. Matt joined Hinsdale Orthopaedics in 2022 and is licensed to practice medicine in Illinois and Indiana. His training allows him to independently treat patients in the hospital and office setting as well as assist in the operating room. He is able to collaboratively assess, diagnose, and treat patients specializing in sports medicine, knee and shoulder disorders.
Matt received his bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017. He went on to earn his master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois in 2020. Working together as a team, he and Dr. Ronak Patel focus on the evaluation, diagnosis, conservative treatment, and surgical management of sports injuries, knee and shoulder disorders.
