Biography

Mike is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, where he earned his bachelor's degree and certification in athletic training. His passion for treating overhead athletes inspired him to pursue his master's degree in occupational therapy from Midwestern University. Rehabilitation of elbow and shoulder injuries in athletes and active populations continues to be a strong area of focus. Working with orthopedic patients his entire career drove him toward earning his Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification in 2018. 

Mike's treatment focus starts with treating the source of what led to a patient's pain or dysfunction. He strongly believes in allowing patients to maintain their activity and interests while they work to recover with therapy.
