Amanda Montbriand, PT, DPT graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2019. She practiced in outpatient sports and orthopedic physical therapy for 1 year prior to coming to Wilmette. She is passionate about interprofessional teamwork and collaborative care, especially when it comes to athlete rehabilitation. Amanda is thrilled to work for Illinois Bone and Joint institute, where open communication between providers is valued so highly.
Amanda completed a 13-month Sports Physical Therapy Residency, where she was one of the primary physical therapy providers to the Division 1 athletes of UIC. Go Flames! She has experience with a wide variety of sports and general orthopedic conditions and works to provide the most patient-centered, specific care as possible. She enjoys staying up to date with current research in order to provide the most evidence-based treatment for her patients. She is interested in patient and clinical education, manual therapy, exercise programming, and post-operative rehabilitation.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with friends and family, taking her dog to the park, and participating in group fitness.
