Biography

Julianne has been practicing physical therapy with IBJI since 2009. Originally, from Indiana, Julianne moved to Chicago after attending PT school. Julianne has worked in both the Glenview and Highland Park locations and is excited to bring her expertise and passion for sports medicine to the Peterson Avenue clinic. She has extensive experience in post-operative care of various shoulder, hip, and knee diagnoses, but enjoys treating a diverse caseload. Julianne believes strongly in IBJI’s collaborative care model and enjoys working closely with physicians and their staff to provide optimal, patient-focused care.

Julianne is dual-credentialed as an athletic trainer (ATC) and assists IBJI’s ATCs with outreach coverage. Her ATC degree provides a solid foundation for treatment and prevention of sports injuries and led her to become the leader of IBJI’s Sports Med Special Interest Group (SIG) from 2011 to 2014. Julianne and her team developed a performance-based ACL rehab protocol, return to play testing for all IBJI athletes, and a phase IV program that has allowed athletes to have a structured path back to sport/activity.

Julianne has been working in the suburbs for the last 5 years and is excited to work closer to her home in the city. She enjoys checking out new restaurants, watching sports, and spending time with her family and friends.
