Biography

Savannah is a licensed occupational therapist with IBJI, having graduated from Concordia University - Wisconsin, where she received both her undergraduate and master’s degrees. Over the course of her clinical career, Savannah has had the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages in both an outpatient hospital setting as well as in a pediatric outpatient clinic. She gained experience working with several orthopedic and neurological injuries and diagnoses. 

Savannah’s interest in occupational therapy began in high school after she sustained multiple sports-related injuries. Having to wear a brace herself, she became interested in the aspect of hand therapy and splint fabrication. 

Savannah believes in the importance of developing individualized, client-centered relationships, focusing on implementing evidence-based treatment to help her patients return to their occupations and everyday activities. She continues to expand her knowledge by engaging in new learning experiences and participating in evidence-based research. 

Outside of work, Savannah enjoys being outdoors, working out, watching sports, playing ice hockey, and spending time with her family, friends, and two bulldogs.
