Allison is a Physical Therapy Assistant that joined our team in August of 2017. Allison is very passionate in assisting her patients returning to their highest potential after injury. Allison enjoys expanding and developing her skills as a therapist by taking continuing education courses that will directly benefit her patients outcomes. Allison has a wide array of course ranging from Manual Therapy Techniques, Management of Chronic Pain, Cervical Dysfunction, Prevention & Treatment of Running Injuries, and Rehabilitation of ACL injuries. As a former Division I athlete, she has a special interest in injury prevention, rehabilitation of youth athletes, and return to sport rehabilitation. Allison enjoys working with patient’s of all ages, demographic, and injuries while focusing on improving patient outcomes with evidence based practices.
Allison has a background in sports performance from her years as the strength and conditioning coach at Roosevelt University for Softball and Volleyball, as well as being a certified personal trainer. In her spare time, Allison enjoys writing health and wellness blogs in order to educate the community on injury prevention, the importance of physical therapy, working out, and managing a healthy lifestyle. Allison is also a proud member and volunteer activity leader for Team Red, White, and Blue.
