Biography

Sofia Bharucha has lived in Skokie, IL for most of her life – she went to Loyola University in Chicago for her BS in BIology as well as Minor in Spanish Language & Literature. She later attended Washington University in St. Louis for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Chicagoland has always held a dear place in her heart, so she came back home to give back to the community.

Sofia has clinical experience working in the outpatient orthopedic and pediatric settings, and enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses to help them regain function and a better quality of life. Her goal is to work together with her patients to help them achieve their goals through personalized treatment plans while also helping them gain more confidence in their abilities to move. Her areas of interest include pelvic health, pediatrics, TMJ, shoulder, and the cervical and lumbar spine. 

In her free time, Sofia likes to read a good book, drink tea, and try new foods. She also enjoys hiking, taking pictures of nature, and playing with her bunny Ollie!
