Jessica recently joined the team at IBJI in June 2017. She is originally from Tampa, FL and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of Florida. She then moved to Chicago to pursue her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University.
As a former cheerleader for the University of Florida and a level 9 competitive gymnast, Jessica shows an interest in the rehabilitation of athletes with concussions, post surgical procedures, and sport related injuries. In addition to treating patients at IBJI, Jessica is the physical therapist for the AHL’s Chicago Wolves, implementing care to injured players both in clinic and at home games. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and values the importance of wellness and physical activity.
Prior to joining IBJI, Jessica provided specialized care for those with vestibular, post concussion, and balance disorders. Providing a patient centered approach to physical therapy, Jessica has provided care to patients in Chicago, Seattle, and Miami with orthopedic, neurological, and sport related diagnoses. She believes in the importance of an evidence based and multidisciplinary approach in order to provide the best patient centered care.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys working out, visiting her family in Florida, and exploring downtown Chicago.
