Mike Swoboda, PTA started working for Illinois Bone & Joint Institute in fall of 2009.
Mike has always been interested in fitness and body mechanics. In 2002 he completed a Personal Trainer program at Triton College and began working in the Personal Trainer field. By 2005 he received Bachelor Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago to further deepen his knowledge of anatomy, physiology, exercises and body movement. He transitioned to the Physical Therapy field after completing his Physical Therapist Assistant degree in fall of 2009 at Oakton Community College.
Mike also taught a fitness class part-time at Triton College as an adjunct faculty member, worked for a chiropractor office as a technician and practiced martial arts for over 12 years, holding a 4th degree Black Belt in Okinawan Kenpo Karate Jutsu.
