Mike Swoboda, PTA started working for Illinois Bone & Joint Institute in fall of 2009.
Mike has always been interested in fitness and body mechanics. In 2002, he began working as a Personal Trainer after completing his Personal Trainer degree at Triton College. By 2005 he has completed his Bachelor Degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, further deepening his knowledge of anatomy, physiology, exercises and body movement. This has propelled him to transition to the field of Physical Therapy.
Mike finished his Physical Therapist Assistant degree in the fall of 2009. In between school and personal training, Mike has also managed to teach a fitness class part time at Triton College as an adjunct faculty member. Mike also practices martial arts and holds a 3rd degree black belt in Okinawan Kenpo Karate Jutsu.
