Tracy Uchi, OTR/L rejoined the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute Rehab team of Gurnee in 2019. She had worked as a rehabilitation technician for four years while pursuing her degree in Master of Science in Occupational Therapy through Mount Mary University. Tracy developed her skill set in assisting patients during rehab, and maximizing their independence and ease in their activities of daily living after injury, surgery, or debilitating conditions. Tracy is deeply committed to life-long learning and consistently invests her time in learning new techniques and finding other opportunities to grow as a clinician.
Tracy is an active member of Chicago Metro Hand Study Group and the Illinois Occupational Therapy Association (ILOTA). Outside the clinic, Tracy enjoys being active, volunteering, spending time with her friends, family, and trying different kinds of food.
