Biography

Dawn Voss OTR/L, began her career as an Occupational Therapist in 2003 after receiving her Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from South Suburban College. She worked as a COTA up until 2009 when she received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Governors State University. Dawn has worked closely with treating various orthopedic and neurological clients in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings before deciding to specialize in hands. Dawn has been working solely with hand therapy since 2009. She enjoys working with all client populations and promoting a positive therapy experience along with a successful outcome. She is experienced with a collaborative care approaches, creating individual treatment plans for diagnosis’s including conservative, chronic, acute and post-surgical conditions involving the hand and upper extremity. She has advanced her skills in splinting and has fabricated custom splints for a variety of individual diagnosis. Dawn is a caring and compassionate person who strives to help humans and animals in need. It is her passion to offer a “helping hand” when and where she can.
