Amy Walsh, PT, DPT, and a Chicagoland native, has been practicing orthopedics since her graduation from The Mayo Clinic in 2014 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She first became interested in the field during her time as an athlete running collegiately at Augustana College, while earning her undergraduate degree. She enjoys the collaborative care model that IBJI offers with open communication between the physician and therapist to facilitate the best possible care for the patient. Amy enjoys treating patients with a variety of orthopedic injuries.
Committed to the individualized care of every patient, offering specialized therapy options, and assisting patients to return to daily activities ranging from high level athletics to being able to keep up with grandchildren, Amy thoroughly takes pride and joy in her practice. Her goal is to facilitate patient independence following physical therapy, primarily through her excellent ability of patient education, so each person may feel their best while doing the things they love.
Still very involved in the track and running community, Amy also loves to travel both in the U.S. and internationally, cook, and cheer on her Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks.
