Allen has been a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant since graduating from Oakton Community College in July 2017 with his Associate’s in Applied Science Degree. Prior to attending Oakton College, Allen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Western Illinois University and his Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rosalind Franklin University.
Allen is always looking for new and fun ways to enliven the rehabilitation process for his patients while promoting the myriad benefits of exercise and healthy living. He appreciates how exercise makes us healthier, stronger, and more vital individuals, while also positively affecting other areas of our lives. Collaboration with the therapy team and the patient is very important to Allen to ensure each patient’s safe and effective return to function. He feels that a therapist’s greatest reward is watching their patients get stronger and more confident in their abilities.
Allen enjoys working with all patient populations from the young to the young at heart. He particularly enjoys rehabbing sports injuries along with back and neck injuries. In his spare time Allen enjoys reading, nature, running, lifting weights, and spending time with his friends and family.
