Max, an Occupational therapist, joined IBJI in September of 2020. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Psychology. Following that, he pursued his Masters of Occupational Therapy degrees from West Coast University in Los Angeles. He then worked in both the outpatient hand and inpatient hospital setting in Santa Clarita, CA, before moving back home to the Chicagoland area in 2020. Max’s focus is on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, including fabrication of custom orthosis for various upper extremity injuries/diagnosis. He enjoys hand therapy because of the small details of the hand anatomy as well as working with people to regain independence with many tasks that are often taken for granted. In his free time Max enjoys hanging with friends and family, traveling, working out and watching sports.
