Biography

Kathryn has been practicing physical therapy since July 2016. Her passion is centered on returning patients to their previous level of functions, helping them get back to their sport and/or work, and being able to improve their quality of life. She is motivated to learn, practice, and implement different skills of therapy in order to give her patients the best care tailored for them. She has a passion with working with athletes of all ages. 

Kathryn received her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in kinesiology at the University of Illinois Chicago. She pursued her associate's as a physical therapist assistant at Solex College in Chicago. Throughout the two-year program, Kathryn has gained clinical experience in the outpatient orthopedics and skilled nursing home rehabilitation facilities. She also has her certification with blood flow restriction and is trained in UE Mulligan technique and Graston. Additionally, Kathryn helps run the IBJI Phase IV program and is certified as a Crossfit Level 2 trainer. 

A Chicago north side native, Kathryn graduated from Loyola Academy. She enjoys anything fitness and health, traveling, food adventures, and teaching her Shih Tzu tricks.
