Stephanie McDole graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Augusta University (f.k.a. Medical College of Georgia) in 2019. During her time as a student, she spent a majority of her clinical rotations working with patients in Orthopedic-focused clinics, ranging from urban locations in St. Louis, MO to rural locations in Clemson, SC. Through her various experiences, the greatest lesson she learned was: being able to build trusting patient-clinician relationships leads to better outcomes, no matter where you are or come from. Now, she finds herself lucky to be a part of the IBJI team at the Avondale location where she can apply that lesson with the new individuals she meets and use her expert skills to help them feel motivated to move through life again.
Growing up in a military environment, “hometown” is a difficult question to answer but a majority of her family is located in the surrounding states so she’s grateful to be starting her new career in Chicago back in the Midwest; that being said, she’s new to city so feel free to share with her any local tips or suggestions!
