Biography

Mitch earned his undergraduate degree in exercise science in 2018 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2020 from Saint Louis University. He joined the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute team in Joliet in August 2020 and opened the Shorewood clinic in 2021. 

Mitch treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions, with a particular focus on youth, high school, and collegiate athletes. He has a strong interest in working with overhead and throwing athletes, helping them safely return to sport and perform at a high level. His background in strength and conditioning continues to shape his treatment approach, allowing him to integrate advanced, performance-based principles into rehabilitation.

He is certified in dry needling and also performs functional capacity evaluations (FCEs). Mitch emphasizes building strong relationships with his patients and utilizes evidence-based, individualized care to help each person reach their goals.

Outside of the clinic, Mitch enjoys golfing, 16-inch softball, water sports, and following the Packers, White Sox, and Bulls.
