I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Governors State University. I have experience in a wide variety of Physical Therapy settings including acute care, home health, and outpatient orthopedic care. Working at Illinois Bone and Joint allows me to participate in a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care by maintaining open lines of communication between patients, their physicians and other health care providers to provide a personalized approach to their care.
I was born and raised in the Chicago land area. I am fluent (written and verbal) in the Polish language and I am passionate about helping bridge the language barrier for individuals in healthcare. My hobbies include hiking, bike riding and swimming in my passtime. I also enjoy walking my pitbull and Border Collie/ Australian Shepard mix named Blue and Oreo, respectively.
I enjoy working in the field of Physical Therapy because it allows me to spend more one-on-one time with patients. I also enjoy helping individuals learn more about their condition while also gaining a better picture of their personal goals to help them return to their prior activity levels.
