Dr. Steven Jasonowicz is a podiatric foot and ankle surgeon providing diagnosis and treatment for the full spectrum of foot and ankle disorders. He enjoys treating patients with fractures of the foot and ankle, sprains/strains, Achilles and other tendon/ligament injuries, plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammer toes and neuromas. He also provides wound care along with limb salvage/reconstruction. His treatment philosophy focuses on the importance of patient education and prevention. Non-operative treatment is emphasized as well as surgical options, when necessary. Dr. Jasonowicz is board-certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ACFAS) and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). He is a graduate of Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine and did his surgical residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He is originally from the Barrington area and as a Barrington High School graduate, Dr. Jasonowicz is excited to be back in the area. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors and staying active, especially running and hiking, water sports in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
