Biography
Dr. Laurence Ge is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. He provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of foot and ankle injuries and conditions, partnering with patients to help them understand their diagnosis and treatment options. He emphasizes evidence-based nonsurgical treatments whenever appropriate. When surgery is necessary, he utilizes a full spectrum of techniques from well-established procedures to advanced minimally invasive approaches. Every treatment plan is tailored to each patient's individual goals and lifestyle.
Dr. Ge earned his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology from Stanford University, graduating with distinction and honors. He received his medical degree from the University of Rochester before completing his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Michigan. He subsequently completed fellowship training in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery at the prestigious Harvard University Brigham & Women's Hospital.
Outside of work, Dr. Ge enjoys photography, reading science fiction, and spending time with his wife and their dog.
My priority is to work with each patient to help them understand their condition, explore available treatment options, and make decisions together based on their goals.
