Biography
Amy's passion for physical therapy began during her high school years at Downers Grove South, where she participated in colorguard and winter guard for four years. Her senior year, she had physical therapy for rib pain and poor posture. From then on, Amy realized she wanted to help others achieve their own rehabilitation goals. Amy went on to earn her Bachelor’s of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Bradley University. Her professional journey started in pediatrics, where she treated children for two years. Seeking to expand and diversify her skills, she transitioned into outpatient orthopedics. Today, Amy especially enjoy working with children, athletic individuals, and the neurological population.
On a personal note, Amy and her husband now own a home in Woodridge, the same community where she grew up. They have an adopted dog named Bruno who keeps Amy very busy during her free time. When she is not working, Amy loves exploring creative outlets like acrylic painting, coloring with markers, and crocheting. She also enjoy cooking and playing the flute as a member of her local community band.
