Biography

Bridget Cler is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedic trauma. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Indiana University and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in adult-gerontology acute care at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Bridget brings a strong foundation of perioperative and trauma nursing experience to her advanced practice role. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she served as an operating room nurse and later as the orthopedic and sports medicine surgical coordinator at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois. She also provided high-acuity care to trauma and surgical patients at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois, where she developed a passion for managing complex orthopedic injuries and collaborating across disciplines in a fast-paced trauma environment.

In her current practice, Bridget focuses on the comprehensive management of orthopedic trauma patients across the continuum of care—from acute surgical intervention through post-operative recovery and rehabilitation.
