Biography

Erica Twarling, PA-C is a physician assistant at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, where she has been a dedicated member of the joint replacement team since 2009. In her role, she provides surgical assistance in hip and knee replacement procedures and offers comprehensive care to patients in the clinic setting. Before joining IBJI, Erica built a strong foundation in orthopedics as a PA with six years of experience in both the hospital setting in northern Illinois and private practice in Colorado. Her broad exposure to various orthopedic environments has contributed to her well-rounded clinical expertise and strong team-based approach to care. As a former collegiate athlete at Nebraska Wesleyan University, she draws from her background in athletics to bring a unique perspective to her patient care. 

Erica and her husband are proud parents of three children, and as a family, they enjoy camping and spending time outdoors. She stays busy supporting her children's many activities and finds joy in balancing a full, active life both at home and at work.
