Biography

Hillary Childs, PTA, is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with over 12 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Augustana College before completing her physical therapist assistant education at Black Hawk College.

She is now thrilled to help open IBJI’s brand-new North Aurora location, bringing high-quality therapy and premier rehabilitation services directly to the area.Specializing in post-operative care, Hillary takes immense pride in guiding patients from their initial, low-level mobility stages all the way to high-level functional recovery. Known for her highly positive and motivating energy, she loves celebrating every milestone and achievement with her patients throughout their recovery journeys. Hillary utilizes a collaborative, hands-on approach to treatment and stays at the forefront of clinical advancements through active involvement in IBJI’s special interest groups.

After living in Chicago for 11 years, Hillary recently relocated to Elburn, Illinois, where she resides with her husband and daughter. Outside of the clinic, she stays highly active by running, playing volleyball, lifting weights, and taking/coaching fitness classes. She also enjoys exploring the local community by trying new restaurants and visiting local breweries.
