Biography

After serving as a registered nurse for several years, Laura attained her advanced nurse practitioner license in 2016. She joined IBJI to help patients with their bone health and other orthopedic conditions. A lifelong learner, Laura obtained her fracture liaison certification in 2018, her advanced fracture liaison certification in 2023, and she's currently an ISCD candidate, pursuing certification in the interpretation of bone densitometry. When IBJI expanded its rheumatology service line, Laura joined the team, working alongside Dr. Lori Siegel and Dr. Nirav Nagarsheth as a bone health specialist. Laura has a broad knowledge of general orthopedics and spine care as well. Prior to working at IBJI, she worked as a registered nurse in orthopedics and has her Orthopaedic Nurses Board Certification. Outside of work, Laura loves to dance and teaches youth ballet, tap, and jazz lessons at a local studio. She lives in the Lake County area with her husband and two children.
